1ère Biennale des Artisans Carougeois

Carouge, ville d’art et d’artisanat, perpétue une tradition vivante de savoir-faire d’excellence. À l’occasion de sa première Biennale, l’association du Parcours des Ateliers Carougeois organise une exposition qui met en lumière la richesse du patrimoine artisanal local, entre tradition et innovation.
Les artisans créateurs accueillent dans leurs ateliers un invité en résonance avec leur métier. Chaque binôme propose un univers créatif singulier à travers un dialogue inventif entre technique et noblesse des matières. Une occasion unique de découvrir au travers d’un parcours l’âme artisanale de Carouge, de rencontrer les créateurs dans l’intimité de leurs ateliers et de soutenir un tissu culturel vivant et précieux

Carouge, city of artisans and art, is continuing a long tradition of excellence. On the occasion of its first biennal, the association is holding an exhibition which highlights the wealth of the local crafts heritage combining tradition and innovation.
Each workshop will invite a guest artisan to create a dialogue between their own techniques and materials. A unique opportunity to discover through this event the longstanding creativity of Carouge artisans in their workshops and to sustain this lively and precious cultural tradition.
